A Poem, The Shores

The Shores
Bronzed bodies bake
On sandy shores.
Licking lollies and
Casting careless chit-chat
At laughing lads and lasses.
Brief baths,
Splashes sprays
In temperate terrific
Water.

On the other shore is industry.
They work.
