A Poem, Crazy on a Train

Crazy on a Train
One of the crazies of the city
Rambles rhetoric on the elevated train,
As it rumbles passed a cemetery.
The seat beside him
Remains vacant for the most part.

The soliloquy continues regardless of the view –
“I know what’s been happening around St Luke’s hospital.
You don’t know how humans are?” –

Another stands and rants,
While a young man reads
A book on globalization.

“Ohio. This side of the road.”

The train rattles
Passed the baseball stadium,
As crazy #1 looks at a penny.
